Kellie pickler

Kellie was one of the most popular "American Idols", even though she was not a finalist. She was born Kellie Dawn Pickler June 28, 1986 at Stanly Memorial Hospital in Albemarle to Cynthia Morton and Clyde Raymond Pickler. When she became pregnant the mother of her child was only aged 16. It was a harsh childhood for Pickler due to her father's struggle with addiction issues for both alcohol and substances and her mother had to leave her as she was just two. Morton gained control of Pickler for two years. But, Pickler acknowledged that not everything went well. "I remember that my mother with me were cooking in the kitchen when I said'I'd love God would take me away, I'd much rather not be alive alongside you.' The girl pulled off a knife from the kitchen and placed it on the counter. Then she said: "Here you go." I was in fourth grade. She said "Of Of course, I'd never ever have taken action about the incident. But it has caused me a number of emotional bruises." Pickler was later given to her grandparents after she turned 12 years old. Morton failed to appear for the hearing. Pickler is adamant about her grandparents as her major influence throughout her life, was a child of them. In the month of January, 2002, her grandmother Faye Pickler passed away from lung cancer. Pickler was raised by her grandfather. Pickler earned her high school diploma from North Stanly in New London, North Carolina.
