Andrea Anders

Anders was originally was born in Madison and raised DeForest. She lives with her family in Los Angeles. She graduated in 1993 from DeForest Area High School in DeForest Wisconsin. Then in 1997, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts at The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. Rutgers University awarded her a Master's of Fine Arts degree in 2001. Anders was involved in a romantic relationship in a relationship with Matt LeBlanc (whom she met at the set of Joey), her ex-costar from the series that ended in a cancellation. Sean Anders, director of Sex Drive and Never Been Thawed (anders.com) is her twin brother. Anders began her career in theatre in the year 2001. She was a student of Mary Louise Parker on Broadway in Proof. In The Graduate she played Elaine Robinson. In addition, she appeared in On the Jump at the Arena Stage, New Doors at the Guthrie Theater in addition to two New York Stage & Film productions: Cold/Tender and New World Rhapsody. In the month of May, 2007 Anders was cast as a character in the Geffen Playhouse performance of Fat Pig. Fat Pig shut down on July 1, 2007, with Anders playing the role of accountant Jeannie. Anders first appearance on television was in a Dannon advertisement which ran through the middle of the 1990s. Then she appeared on TV again around the year 2006. Anders has been a part of Joey since the beginning, playing Alex Garrett the lawyer and The Class (nee Campbell) as Nicole Allen - an ex footballer's wife. Anders was on all of the episodes of both shows, but both were canceled. Anders was also seen making guest appearances on One Life to Live, Law & Order, The Guiding Light, and Tru Calling. She was featured on HBO in three episodes in the role of Donna Degenhart as early as 2003. She then made appearances as Heather in The Stepford Wives in 2004 as well as Brandy as Brandy, as Brandy in Sex Drive in 2008. Anders has also played Brandy in the 2008 film, Sex Drive. Anders made appearances in two unfulfilled television pilots. Spellbound was one of them, as was News To Me another. Anders made an appearance in Better Off Ted for ABC The show is a comedy featuring just only one camera. The script was written by Victor Fresco.
